1. Power ON/OFF:
● Press your item locator's function button once to turn it on - it should beep once to indicate it is powered
● To power off, press and hold the same button for at least 3 seconds. You will hear 2 beeps to indicate your item locator is off
1.1. Check for updates:
● To use the app "Find My App" to locate your items

2. Start the application
● Open the Find My app on a supported iPhone or iPad
● Allow notifications from apps
2.1 Connect your project locator
● Open your item locator
● In the Find My application, select the Items tab
● Click "Add Item" and then click "Additional Supported Items"
● After locating the project locator, click "Connect"
● Choose a recognizable name and emoji for your item locator, then click "Continue"

3. Find nearby item locators
Open the Find My app and select the Items tab
● Click on the item locator in the list
● Click "Plane Sound" to make your IT EM Locator beep

3.1 Find the last known location of an item's location
● Open the Find My app and select the Items tab
● Click on the item locator in the list
● The last known location of your item locator will be displayed on the map as the emoji you selected during setup.
● To navigate to the last known location, tap Directions to open the Maps application
4. Find out of range items
4.1 Enabling "Notify when you're behind"
● Open the Find My app and select the Items tab
● Click on the item locator in the list
● Under "Notifications", enable the "Notify when behind" toggle
● You will receive a notification when you leave the item locator out of range of your device
4.2 "Notify when found" is being enabled
● Under Notifications, enable the Discovery Notifications option
● When your item locator is seen by another Find My enabled device, you will be notified of its updated location
● Note: "Notify When Found" can only be executed when the item's location is out of range
5 when your target is lost
Enable "Lost Mode"
● Open the Find My app and select the Items tab
● Click on the item locator in the list
● Under Lost Mode, tap Enable.
● A screen will pop up detailing Lost Mode, tap "Continue"
● Enter your phone number or email address and click "Next"
● You can enter a message which will be shared with whoever finds your message
● Tap "Action IV ATE" to enable "Lost Mode"
